Our clinic is centrally located in the heart of Amite so that your family can get comprehensive care close to home.
West Oak Family Clinic opened its doors in early 2021 with Dr. Laura L. Drake, MD as its founder. Presently it is staffed by a Pediatrician, a Family Nurse Practitioner, a Registered Nurse, a Medical Assistant, and Office Manager, as well as a Receptionist who is dedicated to providing quality health care. We are committed to physical, mental, and social health for children, adults, and families, and to that end, our staff and employees work tirelessly in ensuring the well-being of all in our community.

Dr. Laura Drake, MD
Dr. Laura earned her medical degree from LSUHSC – Shreveport in 2008 and completed her residency training at LSUHSC at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.
Anna Gore, FNP
FNP Anna Gore earned her nursing degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2011 and started her nursing career at Our Lady of the Lake in 2011.
